I love this short animation film a lot.

The plot was telling a truth:  Be your self, and pursue what you love, then your life will be meaningful and colourful.

I totally agree with the story, as I experienced banned by my parents to drawing cartoon, but not focused on studying. I understand how happy and exciting when I do the things I really love.

Except for the plot, the colour of the film is great hight light too.
The film uses the grey to stand for the ordinary people, who work for life as a machine. And the big contrast is the only thing has colour is the violin player and the little park in the middle of the city. That absolutely lead people to think that is the boy's favourite and makes him happy, and the little park stands for people's dream. When the boy has been forced to studies, he turns lighter and lighter. That refers to his dream is going to fade away. In the end, dad not only tries to potent playing violin for his son, but he also shows to his son, be brave to stand out to be different and does what you really passion with. Then dad turns blue, and the son turns to bright orange. Their life is finally filled with colour and not boring as grey anymore because they are going to be different.
