Motion
I've got this photo on our school's orientation week. The professional net ball players were invited to play with our student. I don't do sport photos a lot, I think my lens might not quick enough to catch the actions, as I always see sport photographer carry a huge lens to shoot. Anyway it's a not a important sport even, so I would like to give a try. I hind behind a pillar because I was a little afraid of hit by the ball, as my lens is regular 28-75 mm, I couldn't shoot in distance. I froze some action but the background had too many distribution. Then I try to slow down the shutter speed, and try some padding. This one came out. I know it's better if I could got the girl in the frame wee bit more, but I like her action and the position of the ball and the colour of motion blur. As it was a cloudy day, I dial up my exposure compensation to +1, so the cloudy sky was almost as white, which give a clean look. I can see this one as a post or a cover. I like it.
